One of the most progressive and largest in Ireland with more than €300 million in assets, it endeavours to offer its membership full retail banking capability.

With this vision in mind and a dispersed customer base, the importance of the core software systems were recognised by management and they engaged IS Options, initially to investigate the current processes and system capabilities and define an IT strategy for the future.

The new IT strategy was adopted, revolving around the selection and implementation of a new world-class software suite tailored to the organisation’s needs and the strengthening of in-house IT management capability. IS Options was engaged to manage the selection and deployment, and employed best-of-breed professional methodologies to ensure quality.

Ultimately the use of best-of-breed quality control methodologies ensured the project’s success, and even before go-live we were able to hand over complete ownership of the project to the strengthened in-house IT management team. The new systems are now fully operational.
